Looking forward to seeing everybody! Can you guys believe it has been 35 years? We are now officially OLD Farts I think. I like it! See you all on Friday! You guys did a GREAT job on this webb site.
Hi to all,Thanks for keeping me in touch with the Haworth class of '73 since I moved to Fort Wayne my junior year. The website is wonderful!I continue to live in Littleton, CO (30 years in Colorado) and work at Coronado Elementary School as the instructional coach. My oldest son, Zach, graduated from college this spring and is working in the business world. My other son, Kaleb, is still in college. My husband, Garth, is the business teacher at Columbine High School and an online instructor with University of Phoenix. Hope all of you have a marvelous time this weekend! I'd love to hear from you!
Hello everyone!"35 Years" no way. Well hope to have some fun. I will not be able to attend the dinner, but will be there afterwards. From the pictures I have seen I would not recognise anyone. LOL! Just kidding. Will be at Scotty's Friday night and the open house Saturday afternoon. Hope to see everone then too.Cyndi
Hi everyone! What a great way to keep up.
A lot of familiar names here. Hopefully my wife Jule and I will be able to make it. Currently live in Kokomo with my beautiful wife Julie, and 3 kids.
I was also shocked when I heard about Al. He was so much fun at our reunion! I will keep his family in my prayers. It's such a shock to re-unite with someone from so long ago in your life, and then suddenly they are gone...goes to show you we aren't immortal like we thought we were in high school. For this reason, I am more thankful for the friends I have. I LOVE staying connected with this website and hope ALL of you check in once in a while!
WOW! Great job on the website and many thanks to all that have planned this! Looking forward to seeing everyone and hope to see a good turnout. See you there!
I hope Smeltzer, Kellar, and Zilligan make it on Friday. The neighborhood has changed!
I don't think I will be able to make it to the reunion. I hope you all have a great time!!!
Ilike this web site.
Hello to all.......
I swear I did not solicit those kind words from Don Gus Moody. I met him 13 years ago at a court mandated adult reading course, the guy's a kook.
Richard LewisFriday, July 11, 2008 A quick story to share about someone on the "where are you" list...In 1975, I was a US Marine standing on a pier in Cannes, in the south of France...like thousands of other Marines and Sailors stationed on ships in the US Mediterranean...waiting for shuttle boats to return is to our ships after shore liberty...a guy and myself back into one another accidentally...I turned around in mutual shock and surprise, to find "sailor" Tom Lowdermilk standing there. It was a class reunion in and of itself...I know he found his way back to the states...but now we will see if he can find his way to this reunion...Its truly quite a small world... I didn't go to you're school. I however feel Tom Lowdermilk is the real deal. His heart proceeds him in everything he does. You all can be pleased to know one of your classmates from the class of '73 has become a good friend of an Alaskan and a great man (he lives in the east somewhere).
Hello fellow Huskies ! I'm surprised and somewhat ashamed of myself, I'm sitting here with my Grandson at 1:00 am while he is reading all about Shih tzus to me and I'm gabbing to you. I was curious and wanted to look all of you up. I'm so glad that I did. Going threw the list on the guest book and reading all the names I had forgotten. ( yes, I said it) made me realize how much I want to bring back the old memories. And: by the way my grandson is visting from Kentucky so it's ok if he stays up all night if he wants to before he leaves tommrow to go back. Tears my heart out. Excelent job to all who put this together. KOODLES TO YOU 11. I'll see everyone at the reunion. SincerelyTheresa Hiatt
Time has flown by all us old birds--great website M/M Gentry and Kellar. Trying to get a decent airfare back to indy for the bash...may have to ride baggage compartment of greyhound bus...my stimulus package has been spent on water heater and wifes trip back to see her mother in south carolina....thanks MR BUSH....had a great visit with huffman, noland, smeltzer 2 summers ago at great basin..i think about HHS alot and all the great kids of the class of 73!

As everyone else has already said - great web site.... I will not be able to attend the reunion as I already have a previous conflict with another type of reunion in Chicago for the same weekend. I know everyone that attends will have a blast.I am living in Troy, MI and still work for GM at the Ren Cen in Detroit in Information Security. In September I will have 31 years. I am still single but have traveled many exciting places over the yearsI have lots of memories of my Senior year at Haworth and of all of you.Sheilla
Thanks for all the work you've put into the website and keeping the reunions going. I hope to be there and renew old friendships again.
Great web site!! Love the picture's Still recovering for all of it. Doubt if I make the reunion, but probably will go to Scotties the night before.
Nice web page hope somebody from my class of 1971 looks at it for reference for our next bash. I still can't call it Kokomo it will always be Haworth!

Great web page (Thanks for all your hard work Tim, Dave and lets not forget Jan!!) Can't wait to see everyone once again. Al
Just a quick thanks to the Kellar's and Gentry’s for doing such a great job on getting the information out to all the classmates of 73, a lot of memories will always be with us all! Lets all send Jimmy Noland a big Hello! Or at least a phone call what do you think?
... Greeting to you all! For the past 35 years I've been wide awake in a dream. My life continues to be characterized as a wild rollercoaster ride in Life's grand amusement park. After many many somewhat memorable days in those hallowed halls of Haworth and thanks to lots of student loans along with several grants , I attended classes at five different colleges. During the winter of 89' as a full time student at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, I was once again placed on academic probation . Soon afterward I gave up on any ideas of graduating with a diploma, deciding instead to forego higher education and dropped out for the last time. For my continued existence I floundered as a gamefully unemployed hippie unable to hold a job. In 99' I was hired as a solid waste operator at the transfer station in Lancaster , New Hampshire . I've worked there for nine long years and look forward to retirement. I have a dog, a wonderful wife, and a phone if you decide to call (802) 892-5941. For the few classmates I still stay in contact with you will always remain close to my heart and omnipresent in my thoughts. The class of 73' legacy will forever hold a distinctive place in history to be proud of. We will always be remembered as the first Huskies to go through all four years at Haworth High. Congratulations,we have arrived and will always remain bold as love.....
I'm in southernCalifornia and unable to get to the reunion. I would love to come, but the vacation time has run out. I've lived in 5 states and landed here for the last 7 years. Keep me posted. I appreciate the hard work and wish I could be there.Margo
Happy New Year to all you Huskies from beautiful Las Vegas!
Hello! So glad I found this website! I didn't graduate from Haworth , my family was transferred to Cedar Rapids the day after our Sophomore year ended. Saddest move I ever made! I had great friends in Kokomo and the 3 of us Roeber kids love to talk about our time in Kokomo! I'm hoping the site is still up and active, and each of you are doing well! Carolyn
hope we have a great turnout.
Alternate email mmcclain@san.rr.comI'd like to be on the mailing list for future. Will have to see if I can make this one. Last one I heard of was passed along about 10 years ago, or was it 15 ;-) but couldn't make that one. It would be interesting to see how things have changed.
The website is great! Thanks to all who helped with this and the reunion.I had so much fun at the last one. Can't wait to see everyone again.
I'm was so glad the invitation reached me in Tennessee!! I'm sure going to try to make it. Will be nice to catch up with everyone. GO HUSKIES!!
2 great guys from the Maple Crest-Haworth era have passed on. Both Al Sullivan and Kris L. Nick were real nice people and i have alot of great memories of them. I last saw Kris a few years back at the Steel Inn tending bar and we had alot of good laughs from the old days. You never know when you are spending the last times on this earth with somebody, so don't let those moments pass you by if you get a chance.....see a friend!
Great Website. Thanks to all who have worked on the reunion. Wish I could make it. Already had plane tickets for July 19-27 . We will be in Kokomo much of that week. Living in Del Rio, TX on the border. Married an Air Force Pilot and this is where we ended up. I would be glad to help with the next one from afar. Cathy, Renee, Becky where are you?
This website is awesome, I have never been to a class reunion. I moved to Florida and was an administrative assistant for 20 years. I retired and moved back to Kokomo. So far so good.
Many thanks to whoever put so much time and energy into this for the rest of us .... (probably Jan Kellar). I hope to be able to attend the reunion.
I didn\'t finish school, but would have graduated with you all. Got GED in the Army. You can find me on facebook or myspace (dougandreginawymer) or email me at dougwymer@yahoo.com
I don't think people realize how many hours it takes searching for lost classmates or the effort it takes to put an event like this together. I will be happy to help you in any way with the next reunion! Thank you so much for all of your time! I had a wonderful time at Scotty's and like Cindy (Silvey) Holliday because of this reunion I have reconnected not only with her but Elaine (Schrader) Lindemann, Theresa Cooper, Brenda Hoel, & Jan & Dave. As far as I'm concerned, the relationships that we create while we are on this earth is what life is all about! Looking forwar to the next one!
I want to thank all of you organizers for putting this reunion together. I'm sorry I couldn't attend, but has to be in IN mid July and could not turn around a come back in Aug. But, because of the reunion it has put me in touch with some lost friends. I have enjoyed reading the blogs and look forward to staying in touch. Thanks again.
I can not believe that we are all that old! 35 years sure passed fast. Those were the days, huh! I am still single and raising lots of crap. Sorry I cannot attend the reunion but it sounds like lots of fun! Enjoy Everyone!!
This is a great web page
Hi....does anyone out there remember Vicki Walls. Not sure if she was in class of \'72 or \'73. I am trying to locate her. Thanks for your assistance.
class of 1975 go huskies
Al was such a nice guy. It was great to see him at the reunion. I remember him as we grew up and could count on him for a laugh. My prayers to him and his family, we'll miss him. I'm glad we have this forum to share with each other.
I am so sorry to hear about loosing Al Sullivan ! My heart truely is so sad for his wife, and familiy. What a terrible loss for everyone. You will be in my prayers.
As most of you know Al Sullivan passed away on December 7th, Al was a very good friend to me and will be missed. For those of you who would like to attend a causal gathering at Al home on Saturday, December 13, 2008 @1:00 p.m. the address is as follows:Al Sullivan6986 S. 100th E. Trafalger, IN 46181
Just to set the record straight Tommy ...the Kodiak bear my husband shot in Alaska is a 10 footer ..... and my home is a zoo and not just because of all the dead animals....mostly because of the people !!!! LOl !!!.............and again thanks for bring Susan up to see me and the great afternoon at your moms!!! ..... God bless her.......Virginia, Susan and i will be talkin' bout that afternoon for a longgggg time !!!!
Yeah, nothing like wondering if your friend is going to end her first motorcycle ride by dropping into a sobbing pile of leather and snot and muttering, "WHAT was I thinking???" But, no...Susan climbed off of Tom's beautiful bike after that long trip from TN to IN and still managed to have a smile on her face! Frozen onto her face may be more accurate. Even a summer rain is cold when you're flying low. Tom Lowdermilk was a great pal to transport Susan to Jane's house in Tipton so that we could all get together to commiserate after our ziplining accident a few weeks prior. Yes, Susan (Beatty) O'Banion, Jane (Schroeder) Fague, and I all took our 54-year old butts to Sevierville, TN for some serious ziplining through the Smokies. And we all 3 wound up in the ER. Go figure.
This website is great. It is also nice to see some many of us using it was an easy way to stay connected! I would be happy to assist with the expense to keep the website up, please contact me with who to send some money to. I've seen a few of our classmates since the reunion and each expressed their regrets at not being able to attend. Reach out to them and remind them about the website. Let's do have some informal get-togethers!
I think it will be loads of fun!! Looking forward to it. I love to test my memory. Be sure and come if you can always more fun the more that can make it.
35 years!! OMG! Now I really feel old! I'd love to see every one. We'll see. Hi Cindy Jacobs, Marilyn George, Susan Beatty, Becky Hawkins, Richard Lucas, Donald Clumb, and so many I can't remember!
