Comment: I never have been to a class reunion. Didn't actually go to school that much either. This website has brought back some good memories of some good people for me. Not sure about the reunion ibut probably will go to Scotties the night before. Oh yeah! I'm still recovering from the picture. What a class motto. I was thrilled to get a letter from Dave and Jan. I couldn't convince anyone it happened.

Comment: Hello Haworth HS,

I moved to Kokomo in the middle of the 7th grade (attended Maplecrest) and then onto Haworth HS. I was very involved in music while at Haworth, singing in the concert choir, the Madrigal Singers, the Swing Band, and was Uncle Ernie in our production of Tommy. Pete Thompson was my best friend.

I have been a preacher for the churches of Christ for 45 years and an adjunct professor for 35 years. I graduated from Haworth HS and completed my BS in Biblical Studies and Communication, an MS in Ministry and New Testament, an MDiv in Historical Theology, a Doctor of Ministry in Homiletics (Preaching/Religious Communication, and did my PhD work in New Testament and Leadership. I have taught for schools, colleges, and universities in Kentucky, Nebraska, and Alabama, as well as Peru and Tanzania East Africa. I have traveled in my work to Scotland, England, Holland, Peru, Tanzania, Panama, and Honduras.

I was a radio jock in college and considered radio as my career, but went in a different direction. I am a children's storyteller and am trying to publish a juvenile fiction book entitled Johnny and the Best Day Ever.

I married my wife, Dorothy Ann Wingett Curry May 19, 1978 and we have two daughters and four grandchildren. My wife has her MS in clinical counseling and her MEd in Early Childhood Education.

If any of you remember me, especially if you considered me a friend, please message me and let's catch up.

Comment: Well, Joyce Dunlap Dean has been pestering me for years to follow up with fellow graduates so I guess I just may attend the 40 year reunion.  Met Rita Simms Daniels over the summer had lunch at Martino's and it was fun to catch up. I was extremely shy in high school not so much now, but it has certainly been fun reading everyone's bio.
