Hi to everyone-wow 35 years! I would love to come to the reunion but I am going through chemo for non-hodgkins lymphoma, and the reunion is the week I have treatment, so I won't be able too. I have been married 30 years, I have one stepson and two grandchildren. I have a daughter who just got married this summer. I work for the athletic department at Purdue University-love my job I am very involved with the football program. I was a buyer for JCPenneys for 23 years, and have been with Purdue 10 years. My mom died a year ago, I miss her very much, and now I don't get to Kokomo as often. Take care everyone!

It is great to hear that our class is getting together.  I am sorry I can’t attend.  I’m a pastor serving four churches in rural Pennsylvania.  I have two sons.  One is in College the other a senior in High School.  My wife is originally from PA but I’ll always be a Hoosier. I only went to Haworth my Junior and Senior year so I didn’t get to know a lot of people.  I was active in the choir.  That led to opportunities to travel the country and even take a tour of Europe back in the late 70’s.  I still listen to the recording of “Tommy” and remember the good times.  Thanks for the invitation!

Greetings from sunny San Diego.  As you can see from the picture below, you can take the boy out of The Hoosier State, but you can't take the Hoosier out of the boy.  Thanks to Hank Huffman and others for keeping me in the loop.  Sorry I couldn't be there for the reunion, but then I never went to Haworth in the first place so I was honored just to be invited.  I have seen a lot of familiar names on the site.  Special greetings to all of you.  I'd love to hear from you.  Really sad to see Ann Kremers's name on the "In Memoriam" page.  My first love . . . .

Hi everybody! Sorry could not make the reunion, but just located this site. Great to hear about so many of our classmates after all these years.Have lived in Las Vegas for the past 30 years after first attending IU. Was in banking for 11 years and left as operations officer to go into casino work as my husband worked at Caesars Palace. Now divorced and working at the Bellagio Hotel - have been with the corporation for 19 years.Have a son, Jason, who turns 17 this month (JAN.) He is the love of my life and has been an honor student at the top of his class. I now homeschool him - teaching has always been my desire and what I went to IU to do. Soon he will be attending the University of Nevada Las Vegas. GO REBELS!Hopefully, one day I'll get to a class reunion. We get back to Indiana to visit family and stay at Indiana Beach just about every other year.Warm regards to all. Would love to hear from you.

Looking forward to our 50th reunion!

After graduation, I wore lots of different hats as a working stiff. Some of those jobs included retail worker, employment clerk, health inspector, field staff manager, executive admin assistant, and elementary school secretary. Not gonna lie…that last one was more stress-inducing than all the others combined.

I retired in 2020 and now spend my time writing, resting, and relaxing. Those last two may be redundant...but they’re, oh, so enjoyable.

Last year, I created a blog as an outlet for personal essays and short stories. It’s called The Quotidian Scribe and can be found at https://virginiaboshears.com. I also recently published my first novel and expect to have the second book out by summer's end.

I’ve been married to a terrific guy for 38 years, have two married daughters, six grandkids (two married), and two great-grandkids with a third on the way. My husband and I live in a cozy log cabin in the woods near Monroe Reservoir in Bloomington, IN.

Life is good. ♥️
